Saw this on video, this was the movie with Russel Crow as the ship captain. They are at sea pretty much searching for the "ghost" ship -- the bad guys --
Anyway, I liked the film, it has nice sound effects (need to watch with surround sound), some good battle scenes. Overall had a decent story, but lacked a good plot. (it was pretty simple)
I guess the one thing that I did not like was they will have a "part 2". Just don't like movies that do that.
Well, I just thought I would post the first movie review.
I would recommend seeing it, if you can't find anything else to watch... Not my first choice, BUT not the last either.
PS. Maybe this forum/site can come up with a movie rating?? |

Good idea about a rating. What would give on say a scale of 1-5 for "Master and Commander" with 5 being the best? I would probably give it a 3.5 for the action and the real star...the boat. Did you know that the storm scene was actually shot in a typhoon that came up during filming? |
