So....how and where did you get all the quotes and lines to put in the game?

Obviously, you did not watch 1000ish movies and write down you favorite quotes, each time you heard one... or did you ?

Maybe I'm not the movie quote king, but I played "Friends" game (NBC TV show) ... and it was rediculas that a few people at the name KNEW every quote, answer, line, etc. etc.

I mean, it was not even fair :-(

So, back to the question, If you have seen a lot of movies and have a decent memory... maybe you would know a lot of the answers??

thanks

Hi Dean, You are correct. We did watch lots of movies but there are many more movies represented in the game than we watched. There are books and websites that can help with finding famous movie quotes. I agree with you that there are a few people who have no lives and can quote every line and every bit of trivia from movies and TV. Movie Time! is made for the rest of us. The quotes generally come from relatively well known movies and the clues (year of release and actor(s))help players deduce the answers.

We also think you can have more fun in groups of 3-5 players per team. Even the average movie goer can brainstorm with teammates to correctly identify lots of correct answers.

A good memory obviously helps, but luck and strategy also come into play. We have had many reports from players who say that they enjoyed playing even though they do not go to a lot of movies.
