I really enjoy receiving the Movie Tidbits e-mails. When is the next one coming out? By the way, what movies do you consider your personal favorites? |

Look for volume 22 in the next few days. As to my favorite movies, that's always a hard question for me. There are so many that I consider my favorite movies. I really enjoy some of the old classics like "King Kong" (1933) and some of the Marx Brothers movies like "Monkey Business" and Duck Soup". If I had to identify one favorite, I would have to say "Apollo 13". Not only is it a technically remarkable film with an extremely accurate representation of the space capsule and filmed in actual weightless conditions, but it is a dramatization about real American heroes, most of whom are alive today. Ron Howard did a wonderful job directing this movie.
